My photo shows how I view myself in 4 years. Over these next four years I want to continue to be a part of Jackson School for the Arts. Music is my life, it is all I have ever wanted to do. I was never the sporty girl, or the smartest one in class, I was the creative one, who sang in talent shows, made posters, and wrote short stories instead of playing kick ball at recess. I am not positive what I want to do when I am older, I am positive that I want to work with music. I took this "senior picture" with my piano in the background, to represent my "musical background" get it? I thought it was funny.. In four years I hope to be a graduating student from JSA, I want to go to NYU, I am leaning towards a major in musical education, but I have four years to figure that out. This is an identity project, expressing who we are through a picture. Well, my identity is the arts, music is who I am.
I think that if you love music that much you should definitely work in that field whether performing or teaching or whatever you want! It doesn't matter what you do as long as you love doing it. I can relate to this post because I love creating things and creative people. Keep singing and stay awesome!
ReplyDeleteI know we've never really talked that much before, but you seem like an amazing person, leading a life that is destined to be great. You have to focus on what you want out of life and make it happen. This is so mainstream and cliché, but I must. #YOLO
